When I first opened the package, I was happy to see that the dress looked exactly like the photo online. The color was the same, the style was the same, and it had that nice simple look I was hoping for. Sometimes things arrive and look totally different, but this one didn’t disappoint at all. I really liked how soft the fabric felt as soon as I touched it. It felt smooth and light, not stiff or rough like some cheaper fabrics. I held it up in front of me and immediately liked how it flowed. It had that loose and relaxed shape that makes you feel comfortable just by looking at it. The material felt really breathable and airy, which I love because it gets hot where I live and I can’t wear heavy or thick things. I didn’t notice any weird smell either. There was only a light fresh fabric scent, kind of like how new clothes smell at a store. It wasn’t strong or unpleasant and it completely went away after one gentle wash, which I did just to be safe before wearing it out.
